Primary Carers Bursary

If you’re a full-time undergraduate student with responsibility as the primary carer for a dependant adult, this bursary can help support you while you study.

If you’re joining our university in 2025, the amount you receive will be assessed based on your individual circumstances, up to a maximum award of £2,000 per year. Payments are made in two instalments of £1,000 (in November and February). Your eligibility will be reassessed each year that you wish to be considered for the bursary.

If you’re awarded a Primary Carers Bursary, you may also be eligible for other scholarships, bursaries, or discounts offered by the university. If you have any questions, please contact bursaryandscholarship@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
