Family Bursary

The Family Bursary offers a 10% tuition fee discount for international students who have a direct family connection (defined as a sibling, parent, child, or spouse) with a current or former Kingston University student. If both family members are studying at the same time, each is entitled to receive the bursary.

Who is eligible?
You can apply for this bursary if you:

• Are assessed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
• Are returning to Kingston University to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree course.

How to apply 

1. Go to My Kingston > International students > International loyalty bursaries.
2. Complete the Family Bursary application form and upload evidence of your family connection, such as:
   • A marriage certificate (for a spouse)
   • A birth certificate (for a parent, sibling, or child)
3. Provide evidence that your relative studied at Kingston University, such as their graduation certificate or Kingston ID number.

If your application is approved, the 10% discount will be applied evenly across all tuition fee instalments, or refunded if you have already paid in full.
