Glaister Northern Scholarships

We are delighted to offer two scholarships specifically designed to support applicants from the North East and Cumbria who are planning to undertake an undergraduate degree at Durham University.

Two awards are available, worth £4000 per academic year.   £2500 is to be used for tuition/residential costs and £1500 is to be used for internships/international experience/Wider Student Experience.  To be eligible you must:

Have a household income below £42,875.00 as determined by Student Finance

Be permanently resident in one of the following postcode regions; CA, DH, DL, LA, NE, SR, TS.

Preference will be given to applicants in CA and LA postcode regions.
