Hi there! I'm Daria, and I'm aspiring to be an illustrator and graphic designer with a focus on children's book illustrations. My dream is to have my own studio where I can bring creative projects to life. 

As a third-year student at LCC in University of Arts in London, I'm honing my skills in illustration for visual media. Outside of my studies, I'm a big fan of reading, watching classic films, and exploring London for cozy coffee spots. I also have a deep appreciation for art history and love spending time in galleries.

From 2016-2018 I studied Art, Photography and Psychology A-Levels at Princethorpe College, Rugby, and after not being too sure of what I wanted to study at university I decided to throw myself into full time employment. I then came across the Specialist Hair and Media Make-Up course here at University College Birmingham and applied in 2020. Moving cities during the pandemic was very strange, however I soon became very comfortable at The Maltings where I lived with the majority of my classmates. After three years of study, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and I have now moved onto studying Prosthetics for Film and Television MA. Alongside the masters degree, University College Birmingham gave me the opportunity to work for them as an intern in the Marketing Department as part of the masters internship bursary scheme, where my course is paid for in the form of 400 hours of work over the academic year (September-July), which has been a huge benefit for myself financially. I also work as a part time front of house team member at a restaurant in Birmingham city centre, I enjoy this job a lot as I get to interact with lots of different people, I also feel very accepted there as I am free to express myself with my piercings, tattoos and makeup.

I have experience in camera operating, vision mixing, directing, rigging and de-rigging kit, and fixing connection issues. I love playing sports, and play badminton professionally. I have played in several badminton tournaments both nationally and internationally. I am currently in London on a placement year working at Disney as a Broadcast Technology and Operations Intern.

Helloooooo! I'm Jack from Malaysia - a beautiful country known for its amazing diverse culture and gourmet! :)
I'm currently a final-year student studying BA Digital Media, PR, and Advertising. I started exploring media because of my interest in digital media production, but I eventually discovered that I not only wanted to do something creative, but also to use creativity for community engagement, which led me to choose this pathway! In the future, I'm eager to devote myself to Online Community Management & Marketing.

During my free time, I love immersing myself in the world of anime and keeping up with the latest releases. I also enjoy playing narrative-driven and visual novel-based video games!

As someone who had to leave my lifelong home for an unfamiliar city, the transition was challenging and daunting at first. However, Westminster has made me feel comfortable, helped me build confidence, and encouraged me to try new things! I really appreciate the many unexpected sources Westminster provides to can help us to expand our possibilities, and I feel proud whenever I get to represent the university at events. I’m especially interested in how AI can help preserve and interpret personal narratives, expanding the ways we capture and share human experiences.
