Hi! I am Elisha, a third year filmmaking student! I love gaming, reading, walking, and of course, film and television. I love living in Leeds and have explored a large amount of city centre and lots of lovely nature walks- please ask me about it! Also, I frequently work and now am skilled in easily balancing my work/uni/social life, so if you have any questions surrounding that, I am more than happy to help!

BSc Immunology and Microbiology
Hey there, I'm Ella!! I'm in my 2nd year of University, and I'm finally settled into Uni life now ;) I love learning about my Immunology degree, especially about viruses and cancers. On the weekends, you can find me hiking with my friends and sometimes we even go wild swimming if the weathers nice (not likely)⛰️. After my lectures, I can either go rock climbing in my Uni society, watch some football, catch up with the F1 I missed on the weekend or catch up with friends in the union playing some pool.

Hi, I'm Ella, a 4th year MSci Computer Science student. I love walks on the beach, ice cream, elephants, our rescue Dog Loki and annoying my siblings (we're triplets!).
I completed my third year project on Mitigating Gender and Racial Bias in children, creating an educational game and am undertaking a placement with Burlington Stone in Cumbria developing software for their stone production!
I'm not entirely sure what I want to do on completion of my degree but I'm interested in HCI and Computing For Good so hopefully along those lines and put my degree to good use.
Please get in touch with any questions you have!

Interior & Spatial Design BDes
Hello! I’m a direct entry student who came through college first, where I completed my HND in Interior Design and Architecture. This gave me a strong practical foundation and helped shape my interest in design and how spaces are experienced. Then I went straight into second year and started my degree in Interior and spatial design.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and I love visiting art galleries, as they’re a big interest of mine and a great source of inspiration for my work.
After I finish university, I hope to move into a professional interior design practice where I can continue developing my skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow as a designer

I have 2 jobs which I work alongside my degree and placements, this helps me earn whilst being a student! I absolutely love what I am doing and want to inspire like-minded people to take the leap too!

Microbiology [BSc/MSci]
I am from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire where I grew up in a predominantly working-class area and family. I am the first member of my family to finish secondary school education and attend university. I initially came to Glasgow to study zoology but quickly changed to microbiology after discovering my passion for infectious diseases and lab work. I am secretary for Glasgow University Immunity & Infection Society and UofG Antimicrobials & Antimicrobial Resistance Society. I also run and act as secretary for an anti-hate crime charity in Kilmarnock called 4ward2gether which I have done since 2019. Starting university can be very daunting but don’t be nervous as so many other people are feeling the same! I will do my best to help you with any questions you may have!

Pharmacy - MPharm
Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

Hi! I’m Elodie, a second year Maths and Comp Sci student at Strathclyde. I’m originally from Edinburgh; I stayed in halls during first year and am now renting a flat in the centre of Glasgow, so I’m very willing to help out with any queries related to accommodation or finding a place to stay :) I also have to work a part-time job alongside my studies so if this is something that concerns you I’d be open to answering any questions. BEng Biomedical Engineering
I moved to Scotland at the age of twenty and can understand how diffcult it can be, but it also was the best challenge I have ever faced. I do biomedical engineering and want to focus on a combination of electronics and cell biology in the future. I came to this realization from internships and would love to give advice and help in any way I can. I am also passionate about art and crafting in any shape and form and focus a lot on perserving time for hobbies even when the university gets challenging, so we can also have a chat about that! :)

Emilia
King's College London
Forensic Science
Hi! I’m Emi, and I’m currently studying MSc Forensic Science at King’s College London. I’m based at the Waterloo campus, which is where I spend most of my time in lectures, labs, and mock crime scenes (definitely one of the coolest parts of the course).
I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Manchester, and during that time, I completed a year-long placement in Thailand. That experience really shaped me, both in terms of my lab skills and my love for travel and experiencing new cultures.
I’m especially interested in applying science in meaningful ways, particularly in forensic investigation, wildlife crime, and animal welfare, and I hope to work in a role that lets me combine those interests in the future.
Outside of uni, I’m very into arts and crafts, especially making jewellery. I’m also part of the art society and love winding down by watching international films. If you have any questions about King’s, forensic science, moving to London, or just uni life in general, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to help!

I’m in my first year of my PhD in sociology, with a BSc in Criminology and an MA in Sociology and Social Justice. This is a subject I’ve had a lot of passion for, for the best part of a decade, and actually being able to study it has been amazing.
