Hi! I’m Hannah, a first-year student studying Neural Engineering with Psychology. My degree isn’t one that’s very well known but I love it. It combines Psychology, Engineering and Computer Science. In my next couple of years, I will cover areas like working with prosthetics, AI and brain computer-interfaces. If that sounds like your sort of thing, then definitely go check it out and feel free to ask me any questions about my experience so far. I mostly work in the CSEE department so I can answer questions about other courses as well.  As this is my first year, I remember very well how stressful looking for the right university and course can be. I’d like to make your experience easier in anyway I can. Remember, university might seem a bit scary but its also such a great opportunity to be independent and there will always be people happy to support you. Outside of university I like to play video games and I’m trying to get back into the gym. Ask me any questions you have, big or small, and I will try my best to answer them.

I chose to come to Glasgow because of the flexibility they offered with their degree plans; I initially enrolled in a Psychology degree, but have since changed my degree to Chemistry! I am a keen historian who is primarily interested in early modern history, particularly empires, royalty and gender studies. Outside of my interest in history I am very much interested in fashion, makeup, The Sims franchise and food. Alongside this I am also a keen traveller and love to go on holidays, whether in the UK or abroad and learn about new places and cultures! On my bucket list at the moment is to go to Rome and the Holy See, as well as Kensington Palace, the childhood home of Queen Victoria!
