I am a second-year PhD student in Film Studies, with a research focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and documentary filmmaking, particularly through the use of oral histories. My work explores how AI can be applied to enhance and transform traditional documentary storytelling, examining both its creative potential and ethical considerations. I’m especially interested in how AI can help preserve and interpret personal narratives, expanding the ways we capture and share human experiences. My goal is to push the boundaries of documentary film by integrating innovative technologies while respecting the rich history of the genre.

Hi, my name is Will and I am a BA (Hons) Media Production student and have just completed my placement year as a Live Action Production Management Intern at The Walt Disney Company.

I have always loved the creative arts, particularly Film, TV and Radio as well as the performing arts having danced for over 8 years in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Modern Jazz. At Uni, i have found that I love the Producer/Production Manager side of Media Production and hope to do that for a career. 

I am also a prominent member of Nerve Radio and host my own radio show every week which is so much fun!
