Currently in my second year of studying dental therapy and hygiene. Love answering questions about not only the course but the uni itself. I live at home, so I can give advice to my fellow commuters who may feel like they won’t get the most out of their university experience. I’m happy to answer questions.

Palliative Care
My journey at King's College London (KCL) has been an exciting exploration of healthcare. I first studied for a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, graduating in 2014, and then worked as a physiotherapist within the NHS. I subsequently returned to KCL in 2020 to pursue an MSc in Pre-Reg Adult Nursing. This led to an incredible opportunity to begin a PhD at The Cicely Saunders Institute, where I now focus my research within the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care.

MSc Neuroscience & Mental Health
My course of Psychology and Philosophy was my first formal study from the core functions, systems and structure of the brain to different viewpoints and perspectives in philosophy to understand the moral and ethical values of life. I consider learning, education and knowledge are key aspects in my life, it doesn’t necessarily lead down a path of academia, but I use everything I learn to inch me that wee bit forward to my goal. I’ve previously got experience in simple catering jobs, retail but I consider myself, first and foremost as swimmer teacher. If I’m strive to become an academic researcher at Strathclyde University.
