My immediate goal is to join a dynamic dental practice where I can apply my skills and continue to grow professionally. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a postgraduate degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy to deepen my expertise. Hi! I’m a first-year MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) student at the University of Essex, where I also completed my undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy. I began my journey here at just 17, moving to a completely new country and learning to live independently—it was definitely a challenge, but along the way I’ve picked up lots of tips and tricks that I’d love to share.

Over the past two years, I’ve been actively involved with the V Team and have lived on campus throughout my time here, so I’ve gained plenty of experience with student life, accommodation, and all things Essex.

I am a second-year PhD student in Film Studies, with a research focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and documentary filmmaking, particularly through the use of oral histories. My work explores how AI can be applied to enhance and transform traditional documentary storytelling, examining both its creative potential and ethical considerations. I’m especially interested in how AI can help preserve and interpret personal narratives, expanding the ways we capture and share human experiences. My goal is to push the boundaries of documentary film by integrating innovative technologies while respecting the rich history of the genre.

I’m a second-year international student at the University of Essex (Colchester Campus), originally from the vibrant country of Zambia. My educational journey has taken me across Southern Africa, with my O Levels in Zimbabwe and A Levels in South Africa, giving me a rich and diverse perspective both inside and outside the classroom.

Beyond my academics, I’m passionate about sports, fitness, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community engagement—I believe in living a balanced life and giving back to those around me. I currently live off-campus, which has given me the chance to explore the local community and meet people from all walks of life.

My academic interests lie in economics, finance, and business advisory, where I aspire to build a fulfilling career that makes a real impact. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals.
