As an English and Creative Writing student, I am passionate about becoming a screenwriter. My dream is to work for a video game company, like Riot Games or Bethesda, and help adapt their games into a television show; the new show Fallout is a wonderful example of this. I am also currently writing my creative final project as my own original screenplay based on the humour of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I am constantly in the middle of reading numerous books but these are some of my favourites: Brave New World, The Witcher series, Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. Some of my favourite video games: Legend of Zelda, Skyrim, Dragon Age, League of Legends, etc. Some of my favourite manga/anime: Sakamoto Days, Spy x Family, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan. I am also an international student from America. I came here for my British fiancé as well as studies, so I can help you with international questions as well. I can't wait to speak with you!

LLB (Hons) Law
I’m a passionate and ambitious law student with a strong interest in social justice and the climate crisis. I believe in using the law as a tool for positive change, and I’m always up for a good debate on corporate accountability and environmental policies!
Outside of my studies, I’m a bit of a nerd—I love video games, anime, and nothing beats a good, cold classic chess game. When I’m not deep in a legal case or a fantasy world, you’ll probably find me hiking, soaking in nature, or sketching landscapes, capturing every moment with just a pencil.

Mathematics
My name is Kimaro Novat Kairuntu, a PhD student at the University of Essex in the UK. My educational background is a blend of economics and mathematics, with a Bachelor’s degree in these disciplines. I advanced my expertise by earning an MSc in Applied Mathematics, where I deepened my understanding of complex mathematical concepts and their real-world applications. Currently, my PhD research focuses on financial derivatives, a field that combines my passion for mathematical modeling with practical financial applications.
Looking ahead, my career plans involve advancing the intersection of applied mathematics and finance, particularly in financial derivatives. My educational journey and professional experiences have provided me with a strong foundation to contribute meaningfully to both academia and industry. I am eager to develop innovative research and practical solutions that address financial challenges.
My passion lies in the intricate domain of financial derivatives, where applied mathematics is essential for creating models that predict market behavior and manage financial risk. I am particularly drawn to how mathematical theories can be transformed into tools that enhance decision-making in the financial industry. This passion drives my research and fuels my ambition to bridge the gap between theoretical mathematics and practical finance.

Kirsty
University of South Wales
BSc (Hons) Psychology with Criminology and Criminal Justice
My name is Kirsty, and I'm a 23-year-old second year student pursuing a degree in Psychology with Criminology and Criminal Justice. I've previously worked as a qualified childcare practitioner.
My interests lie in understanding human behavior, and in my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, and having fun.
I'm currently learning Spanish and Welsh, and I'm also a young carer for my grandmother. If anyone else is in a similar situation, I'd be happy to share my experiences, especially if they're trying to attend university while caring for someone. As a local student, I commute to the University, and I also have dyslexia, which makes it challenging to understand coursework. However, I've developed practical techniques to overcome these hurdles and am willing to share them with anyone who might benefit.
After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and eventually become a lecturer in South Wales.
