Hi! I'm Zara, a Bioinformatics MPhil/PhD student, and part of the Algorithms and Data Analysis research group at King’s College London. Before this, I did an integrated Master’s in Electronic Engineering at the same university.  Throughout my time at King’s, I’ve had the experience of joining new societies that have led to travelling internationally, somehow becoming a sports captain and also becoming involved in several research projects. Hi! My name is Zehra, and I’m a first-year LLB Law student at the University of Sussex. I’m really excited to be part of the Student Ambassador Programme and to support students who are considering joining our community.

My goal is to become a barrister, and I’m particularly interested in areas such as human rights, public, and employment law. I’m passionate about supporting and advocating for underrepresented communities.

As a first-generation student, an ethnic minority immigrant from Turkey, a mature student, and someone living with a disability, I truly understand how important it is to feel supported, welcomed, and connected at university. That’s why I’m here — to share my journey, answer your questions, and help you feel confident in finding your own path.

I speak both Turkish and English, and outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, watersports, chess, cinema, and music. I also have a cat who keeps me company during my study sessions!

Hi, I’m Zhiting! 
I’m from China and currently studying for a master’s in international law at the University of Westminster. Before coming to the UK, I passed the National Legal Professional Qualification Exam in China and gained two years of legal work experience.

Here at Westminster, I am a school rep and student ambassador. My main academic interest is in human rights protection, and I’m also passionate about exploring new opportunities for personal and professional growth.

My first placement block with City was at a school, and I currently have the rest of my placements at a children’s hospital. Hello, I’m Zoe! 
In the future I would love to go into presenting and journalism, it has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.

I am from a small town called Mirfield, and so moving to Leeds for University has been a huge step for me, I was not used to the city lifestyle at all.
