I also juggle a part-time job at the uni, so I'd love to chat about balancing work and studies. Being an international student, I understand the challenges of adapting to a new culture. I also identify as disabled and queer, and I'm always open to sharing my experiences or offering support if needed. Hello there! 
I'm Carolina, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself with you. 

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Turin in Italy, and I also pursued a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Strathclyde. These academic experiences, along with my current PhD studies, have fueled my interest and knowledge in Academic Skills.

For me, being an architect means more than just working with blueprints on a screen. It's about delving into all the stages of a project, considering the surroundings, their history, and the people who will live there. I never tire of investigating problems and searching for the best solutions.

My educational journey, combined with my extracurricular experiences, has ignited a special passion for languages, particularly English, Spanish, and German. Learning these languages has broadened my horizons, allowing me to better understand and appreciate diverse cultures and traditions.

Thanks to my academic pursuits and my background in extracurricular activities, I've honed my ability to connect with people and communicate ideas clearly. On a more personal note, I adore cooking, traveling, photography, watching sports, and staying active by participating in various sports.

I am from Taiwan, and I am now a 4th-year MBBS student at Brunel Medical School. My special interests in medicine include Immunology and Neurology. 
I chose to study Medicine because I love science and art, and Medicine is the perfect combination of both. I particularly love the Brunel MBBS Team-Based Learning model (TBL) as it guides my learning journey as a medical student very well. The early placement opportunity since Year 1 has been the most rewarding learning experience for me.

Hi! I’m Catty and I graduated from Bangor University in 2024 with a undergraduate degree in Computer Science. This year I will be starting my PhD, focusing on "Electric Vehicle Routing for Middle Mile Logistics Operations". I am passionate about addressing climate change, and my research will explore the application of Artificial Intelligence to this problem. The project is also aligned with government guidelines on achieving Net Zero Emissions.

I am originally from Ghana, but I have lived in London for about 5 years now, having done my GCSEs and A Levels here in the UK. Policing

Whilst studying at Bangor University, I plan on applying to North Wales Police as a Special Constable. The SC has all the same training, equipment and rights as a standard Police Officer however it is voluntary. This will give me invaluable experience into the world and policing alongside my a degree which I love.
I go to Fitness First (one of the many local gyms) everyday other than Sunday, I really enjoying working out and found its a great outlet for stress and also improves my physical and mental health, I also follow a strict diet and skincare routine which also helps with the stresses that may arise during University life.
When I am not studying or in the gym, my main hobby is Gaming, I play on the desktop computer (SO much better than console!)

Lately, I've been obsessed with The Sims 4 and literally cannot get enough of it lol. I also love to crochet and I'm a member of the Crochet Society. In the future, I want to venture into wealth management, or management accounting. I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area.
I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members!
I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.
