Meet the academics

Christopher Velleca

Christopher Velleca has been a faculty member at the New England Institute of Technology since 2003, teaching in the Architectural Building and Technology (ABT) and Humanities departments. He brings a strong blend of academic insight and real-world expertise to the classroom, drawing on over two decades of industry experience. Through this experience, he offers students a comprehensive perspective on the built environment. In addition to his academic teaching, Christopher is the Owner and Principal Architect of Federal Hill Group Architects in Providence, Rhode Island. His professional work spans architecture, construction, and development. He has worked as a construction and contracting consultant for more than 25 years and also owns Federal Hill Group Properties, a property development firm based in Providence.
