Newman University is a great place to study if you would like to benefit from interactive teaching, working with members of staff who take a real interest in your learning, and studying in a single-campus community environment.

The courses are divided  between two faculties:

The Faculty of Education which houses all teacher training (Qualified Teacher Status) courses, together with Early Childhood Education and Care for pre-school vocations, and postgraduate education courses for professional development. 

The Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies (FASPS) comprises of three departments:

  • Department of Arts, Humanities and Human Sciences: (inc. History, English, Drama, Theology, Philosophy, Psychology, Applied Writing)
  • Department of Social Science, Sport and Business (inc.Acoounting, Business, Computing, Counselling, Criminology, Law, Social Work, Sport)
  • School of Nursing and Allied Health  (inc. Nursing, Physiotherpay, Paramedic Scince, Occupational Therapy, Health & Social Care)
