Student life
With over 55 sports clubs and over 200 societies and student groups, the University of Aberdeen has a vibrant student life and community spirit. Joining a club or society is a great way to meet new people and experience new things as well as continue to develop your skills, hobbies and passions. Societies, sports clubs and student groups are student-run activities which give students the opportunity to develop their skills, discover new hobbies and make new friends. From A Cappella and Wizarding World of Aberdeen to Weightlifting and everything in between, we have over 200 exciting activities and initiatives for you to get involved with. These activities are all coordinated by the University of Aberdeen Students' Association (AUSA), our student-led organisation that supports, empowers and represents our students.
