International

London Film Academy is proud of its international community, welcoming students from across the world. We celebrate the cultural diversity our international students bring, creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where different perspectives enrich filmmaking, collaboration and storytelling.

With students from a wide range of backgrounds, LFA has long understood the needs of those studying away from home. We support students as they settle in and become part of the LFA community, helping them to thrive and succeed both academically and personally throughout their studies.

We are a licensed visa sponsor with a “Higher Education Provider with a Track Record of Compliance” rating, meaning eligible international students can work during their studies and may be able to apply for the Graduate Route post-study work visa, where eligible.

Studying in London

London remains one of the world’s most exciting student cities. LFA's location in Fulham, a lively neighbourhood in Southwest London, full of cafés, restaurants, bars, cinemas and green spaces. Local highlights include King’s Road, Eel Brook Common, Stamford Bridge and the River Thames, all offering space to explore, relax and take inspiration.

We are just a five-minute walk from Fulham Broadway Underground station (District Line), with West Brompton (London Overground) also close by, offering excellent transport links across the city. This means central London, studios, theatres and cultural landmarks are all easily accessible.

London has everything to offer, from vibrant neighbourhoods to iconic landmarks, and it’s easy to explore using the city’s excellent public transport system, including buses, the Underground (Tube), DLR, Overground and rail services.

From world-class museums and galleries to historic sites, royal parks and diverse neighbourhoods, London offers something for everyone, and students are never far from their next source of filmmaking inspiration.

Accommodation and Living

While LFA does not provide its own student accommodation, there are many options within easy commuting distance. Popular nearby areas include Hammersmith, Chelsea, Earl’s Court, Parsons Green, Putney, Battersea and Wimbledon.

Living in London is an experience in itself. Beyond your studies, exploring the city will enrich your time at LFA, offering inspiration, new perspectives and the chance to fully immerse yourself in your creative journey. We recommend using tools such as Google Maps, Citymapper or Moovit to plan your commute once you have secured accommodation.
