Our Students’ Union is the hub of student life on campus, but your options don’t end there.
Relax with friends in halls, check out the Lakeside Arts Centre, visit the Farmers’ Market or enjoy our gardens, woodlands and lake. You can also join one of our many societies or sports clubs.
Meanwhile, the city of Nottingham beckons with its legendary tales of Robin Hood and UNESCO City of Literature status. You’re never short of things to do here. Think museums, theatres, music festivals, Premier League football, the National Ice Centre and one of the oldest pubs in England, built into the caves of Nottingham castle.
As for nightlife, Nottingham has something for everyone – from unique games bars, beer gardens and cocktail bars to buzzing live music venues and nightclubs.
For foodies, there’s a mix of cafes, restaurants, delis and markets. If shopping is your thing, small independents nestle alongside high street names, while the trendy Hockley area is the place to grab a vintage bargain.

University Park is spread across 300 acres, with 12 halls of residence, three libraries, David Ross Sports Village, Lakeside Arts Centre and our Students’ Union.
Nearby Jubilee Campus boasts futuristic, eco-friendly buildings and a library on a lake, while beautiful Sutton Bonington offers a dairy farm, stables and our popular farmers’ market.
