About us

The University of Reading is a research-intensive campus university in south-east England.

With more than 150 years of history, we are now recognised for our expertise in areas such as climate science, business, agriculture, and food science.

We have a global presence, with two overseas campuses, the triple-accredited Henley Business School, and dozens of international partnerships.

We offer a range of courses across different levels of study, including foundation courses, undergraduate degrees, master’s programmes, PhD opportunities, apprenticeships, and academic English language and writing courses.

You’ll study on a beautiful, award-winning green campus in a thriving town and become part of a diverse and inclusive community of more than 25,000 students from around 160 countries.

Join us and become part of a caring community of both students and staff that lives, learns, and thrives together.

I chose Reading because I loved the variety of modules on offer, the lecturers I met were engaging, and the emphasis on employability was important to me to help me figure out my long-term career goals. After going to an Open Day, I was sure I wanted to come here.
