Coastland College

The majority of your students access our courses locally and our courses are designed to offer easy access for our learners to regularly attend face to face learning on campus. Courses will be offered over 2-3 days a week maximum, with lessons between 9am and 4pm each day. Part time courses will often only require 1 day per week attendance. HE students each campus have access to specific HE breakout space to use for study or a break from study. Each campus has it own library, with access to books and journals. There is also journal access through Science Direct or OpenAthens, with additional access from our partner universities. 

Our campuses are vibrant and busy, with a range of regular events throughout the year to get involved in such as theatre shows and special events at the animal park.

Weymouth campus is a modern, urban campus - although it is right next to the sea! There is free parking and easy access to Weymouth town centre. It has a range of cafes and facilities such as a library and break out spaces. There is also a gym, a nursery and theatre with regular events.

Kingston Maurward campus is a rural campus, just on the outskirts of Dorchester. It has a 750 acre estate with a working farm and diary, public animal park and gardens and conference and wedding space in a Georgian mansion. It has a educational animal collection including a highly diverse range of species, an equine yard and riding facilities, horticulture facilities and gardens as well the diversity of the estate.
