This report aims to help advisers to support students mindfully and effectively at key points in their journey. The research is based on a bespoke survey involving 2,035 young people from China, India, USA, Turkey and France – with more than 400 Chinese participants – examining their motivations, information requirements, and sources of influence.
In a country the size of China, there are significant regional differences – particularly when comparing eastern cities and provinces to the rest of the country.
