Students interested in applying to study for a full-time degree at university or college starting this September, have until 18:00 (UK time) on Saturday 30 June to make their applications through UCAS.
UCAS’ analysis shows growing awareness of the TEF among applicants to higher education
Analysis published today by UCAS shows that around one in five UK students applying to university this year are aware of the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF). A further fifth of applicants had heard of the TEF, but weren’t sure what it is.

Criminal conviction question removed from higher education applications
From May 2018, applicants for courses starting in 2019 onwards will no longer be required to declare whether they have any relevant unspent criminal convictions when making applications to higher education through UCAS.
UCAS' statement on its verification service
Helen Thorne, Director of External Relations, UCAS, said: ‘UCAS has a responsibility, on behalf of students, universities, and colleges, to screen applications for false, missing, or misleading information, to maintain the integrity of UK higher education and prevent fraud'.
