Arts University Plymouth - Open Day

Before deciding where and what to study, it is important that you find out as much as you can about the place and the course you are interested in. At our Open Day, we'll have everything you need to know about our BA (Hons) Degrees, Extended Diploma, Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and Pre-Degree offering.

Opening times

2 July 2022 - 11:00 to 17:00

Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore Plymouth and the college, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art school in Britain's Ocean City. You can experience our state-of-the-art studios and workshops, explore our campus, talk to our programme leaders, visit the accommodation on offer and talk through any questions or queries you might have with our knowledgeable staff. We'll have representatives from Student Finance, Admissions, Student Support and the Students' Union on hand throughout your visit.

Your Open Day experience will include:
- Welcome talks
- Student Q&A's
- Campus Tours
- Accommodation Tours
- Workshops and Demonstrations
- Parents, Guardians & Supporters Advice

There will also be the opportunity to have one-to-one chats with our academic, admissions, and student support staff as well the chance to find out what student life is like from our current students! The topics we can cover include but are not limited to:
- Course Information
- Student Life
- Accommodation (Accommodation tours will be available on request, see below)
- Portfolio Reviews
- Application Process
- Fees and Funding

Plymouth College of Art, which was founded in 1856, has been granted full university status and formally recognised with the new title of Arts University Plymouth, following approval by the Privy Council. This makes us the City of Plymouth’s first specialist arts university.
