Join us on Saturday 14th January to explore our campus and state-of-the-art studios and workshops, visit nearby affordable student accommodation and speak with our academics and course leaders. You’ll even have the chance to hop on a bus and have a tour of the city!
We know that deciding where and what to study can be a daunting task, this is why we feel it’s important for you to find out as much about the place and course you’re interested in. Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore Plymouth and the university, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art university in Britain's Ocean City. During your visit, you’ll have the chance to speak to our friendly team to find out everything you need to know about our BA (Hons) and Postgraduate offering, ask questions about studying with us and get support on choosing the right course for you. We'll have representatives from Student Finance, Admissions, Student Support and the Students' Union on hand throughout your visit.
Your Open Day experience will include:
- Welcome talks
- Student Q&A's
- Campus Tours
- Accommodation Tours
- Workshop Demonstrations
- Parents, Guardians & Supporters Advice
There will also be the opportunity to have one-to-one chats with our academic, admissions, and student support staff as well the chance to find out what student life is like from our current students! The topics we can cover include but are not limited to:

Plymouth College of Art, which was founded in 1856, has been granted full university status and formally recognised with the new title of Arts University Plymouth, following approval by the Privy Council. This makes us the City of Plymouth’s first specialist arts university.
