Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject such as (Early Years/Education/Special Educational needs). Achieving a minimum of 60 credits with 45 at level 3, with at least 15 credits at Distinction, 15 credits at Merit and 15 at Pass profile.

GCSE C/4 or above in English and Mathematics or Level 2 equivalents will be required.
HNC (BTEC) - M
For entry into the second year of the Foundation Degree in Special Educational Needs, Disability & Inclusive Practice course a minimum of 120 credits at Merit profile at level 5 or above and must be in a relevant subject such as Early Years and/or Special Educational Needs disciplines
T Level - Pass (C and above)

- An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service(DBS) will be required for this course.
- Interview
- All applicants are required to attend an interview and will be notified of the date and time via email, a text reminder is also sent the day before the interview. Applicants applying from outside the West Midlands alternative interview arrangements can be made for you, but we strongly encourage all prospective applicants come along to view Solihull College and University Centre’s facilities and meet the teaching teams.
As part of your interview and possibly your offer you will be required to provide your original certificates, including GCSE’s or equivalents.
English language requirements
Students who are non-native English speakers, or who have not studied the final two years of school in English, but can demonstrate capability in English at a standard commensurate to IELTS 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 being awarded on individual sections for a level 4, 5 or 6 qualification, will be considered as eligible to apply for the programme/course.
