The BSc (Hons) Mathematics and Computer Science joint honours degree at Lincoln offers a broad education in applied and pure mathematics, coupled with the opportunity to develop the analytical and problem-solving skills associated with computer science. With digital technologies driving advances in all aspects of the modern world, there is growing demand for graduates with these combined skills, in a wide range of sectors. Mathematics is at the foundation of many different areas, and the joint aspect of this programme provides students with the opportunity to access a higher level of understanding in both fields, as a combined effort.

    Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

    Hi, I'm Chloe a current second year student at the University of Lincoln, studying Technical theatre and stage management. I am also a cheerleader, having competed all across the UK and abroad in Florida and Amsterdam. I am part of the cheerleading society, on Red Arrows, one of the competitive teams. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.
