Scholarship information

We understand that some students may be living with serious health conditions, and we’re here to offer support where we can. To be considered, applicants must provide evidence of a life-limiting condition. A life-limiting condition is defined as an incurable illness that will shorten a person’s life, although they may still lead an active life for many years.

Acceptable evidence includes either:

  • A letter or report from the applicant’s medical practitioner, or
  • Confirmation from the University of Lincoln’s Student Wellbeing Centre, provided the Centre already holds suitable medical evidence from the applicant’s practitioner.

Applicants must also meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled on a full-time or part-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught, or postgraduate research programme at the University of Lincoln.
  • Have a Home student status recorded on the University’s Student Information System.
