King's College LondonExtended Medical Degree Programme (EMDP)Hello! I'm Aubrey and I am a current 4th year medical student from the EMDP programme. I completed an intercalation in Primary Care last year at King's. I don't have a specific specialty in mind but I am currently interested in emergency medicine and paediatrics. If I'm not on the wards at placement or studying in the library you can probably find me baking or exploring the parks in London. Feel free to ask me any questions about the course and university life! :) Esther
Bangor UniversityMedical SciencesStarting medical school was both exciting and slightly overwhelming, as I fortunately received an offer through clearing. At Bangor University, I’ve learned that medicine isn’t just about studying—it’s about adapting, growing, and finding balance. While Bangor may not be the biggest city, its supportive atmosphere and hands-on learning made it a great place to begin my journey. With mountains to hike, lakes to explore, and breathtaking scenery all around, there’s always a way to escape the stress of studying. My time at Bangor has also given me the opportunity to explore nearby cities, allowing me to discover new places and fully enjoy the experience of traveling. Outside of medicine, I stay active through athletics, enjoy cooking (and eating!), unwind with movie nights, and stay grounded through Bible study. Fadilah
King's College LondonExtended Medical Degree Programme (EMDP)I’m a medical student who balances long study days with crochet, anime, reading, and occasionally badminton to keep me going. I know what it’s like to juggle academic work with real-life hobbies, so I’m always happy to chat about finding balance, navigating med school, or just dive into a conversation over a good show or book. Jess
