University of SouthamptonMidwiferyHi! I’m Aisha and I'm currently in my final year of my midwifery course at the University of Southampton ❤️ Midwifery is an incredible balance of science, compassion, and advocacy. Throughout my placements I’ve had the opportunity and privilege of supporting women and families in their pregnancy, labour, birth and their postnatal period. Every day is different, from antenatal clinics and community visits to supporting births on labour ward, the birth centre and at home. The variety is one of the things I love most about the course. The journey into midwifery can feel overwhelming at first, especially with interviews, placements, and balancing academic work with clinical hours. I remember having so many questions before I started, so I’d be happy to chat - feel free to message me, no question is too small as I’m here to help 😊 Midwifery is challenging, but it’s also deeply meaningful. If you’re passionate about women’s health, advocacy and making a difference at one of the most important moments in someone’s life, you’re in the right place. Alice
Buckinghamshire New UniversityMidwiferyI moved from Ireland to the UK to complete the Midwifery BSc (Hon) programme and am now in my final year. I have loved my course and am very passionate about other people training to be in the medical field. If you are interested in studying any healthcare degree, I can answer questions on requirements, what courses will involve, working in the hospital on placement and what you will learn in your training. Coventry UniversityMidwifery BSc (Hons)Hey, I’m Maran! I’m a first‑year student midwife passionate about anatomy, supporting women during vulnerable moments, and growing into the role of a future midwife. I’m also a Student Ambassador who loves helping others navigate uni life — from accommodation and finances to societies, part‑time work, and course insights. Feel free to reach out for support or questions about student life and the midwifery journey. Megan
Swansea UniversityMidwifery, BMid (Hons)I am currently studying my first ever degree in midwifery. I plan to work for the NHS once I am qualified and move back home to England to be with my family (and dogs of course). I knew leaving secondary school I wanted to work in healthcare, and following a brief stint of care of the elderly in college, I discovered that was not for me. Eventually I found midwifery and my passion around care for women grew. When I am not studying or trying to catch up on sleep from night shift working, I am doing one of two things: reading, or crocheting. People say I have 'granny hobbies'. Why yes, yes I do. Azeezat
University of HertfordshireHealth, nursing, midwifery and social workHi, I’m Azeezat, and I am a final year child nursing student. You are welcome to ask me about how I have navigated throughout my whole academic journey at Herts as an international student. I would be more than happy to share information about campus life, accommodation, on campus and off campus facilities, strictly my course as I have inadequate knowledge about other courses. Please note, I am unable to offer assistance in any aspect of your application process. Jenita
University of PlymouthMSc Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Professions)I’m a current student on the MSc Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Professions) programme, living in Cornwall and studying through a blended learning approach with the University of Plymouth. Previously studied BSc Biomedical Science on the Plymouth campus and FdSc Nursing Associate and BSc Nursing (Adult Health) on the Truro campus (both with the University of Plymouth). Currently practicing as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac and Respiratory health alongside my studies. Within the next 12 months, I'm hoping to obtain my Master's qualification and hope to one day teach as a lecturer at the University of Plymouth. I started off my University of Plymouth journey through Clearing, so I am happy to answer any questions relating to the Clearing process, as well as applying for new courses through UCAS. With over 10 years of experience of higher education under my belt, I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about university life. Niquita
