University of GlasgowMedicine [MBChB]Hello everyone, This is Aditya. I am a 2nd Year international medical student at the University of Glasgow. My aspiration is to become a cardiologist with a special interest in interventional cardiology and cardiac physics. I am open to any questions you guys might want to ask about the university, the medical school, or even the city and how it’s been adapting to a new culture as an international student :) Albert

University of East Anglia UEAMedicineI enjoy developing myself as a student, learning new skills and interacting with people. A favorite pastime of mine is reading, especially thrillers but I'm open to other genres as well. I'm originally from India, specifically from Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, and relish trying new foods and connecting with people from different cultures through their traditions :) Having grown up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that is the place I call home. The links I have to all these different places has given me a broader worldview, and allowed me to experience life from a different lens. Ayra
University of GlasgowMedicine [MBChB]I'm from Pakistan but moved to the UK during secondary school. I love trying new things and the great outdoors! Not too sure what speciality of Medicine I want to go into but something fast-paced and exciting (I like a challenge). I'm very involved in uni life; I do lot of volunteering, am very involved with various society and other social aspects. Feel free to ask any questions! :) Begw

Diolch! Beth
University of SurreyVeterinary Medicine and Science BVMSci (Hons)Hi my name is Beth! I am second year veterinary medicine student. I have a lot of ideas for my future as a qualified vet and I have not yet decided which path I want to take. I would love to work with various charities in different countries around the world, but i also love the idea of working in a mixed practice with both farm and small animals. I have also become more interested in the idea of working in emergency practice or end of life care. I like staying active in various ways, I love climbing and football and have also learned to scuba dive with the society and university. I love walking by dogs and hanging out with friends on the weekend for a coffee or a few drinks at the pub! I'm happy to answer any questions you have :) Bethan
Bangor UniversityMedicineHelo! I'm a first year medical student, originally from the Swansea valleys. I am first language Welsh and currently having the best time studying here at Bangor! I came straight to Uni after completing my A-Levels. I love all things arts and sports and let's say, I certainly know how to keep busy and have a good time! With the Welsh society too, there truly is no better place for me. Billie
University of GlasgowMedicine [MBChB]Hi there! I’m Billie and currently in my 3rd year of the MBChB course. I am from a working-class background in Glasgow, and entered MBChB via the ‘Gateway to Medical Studies Programme’ for widening participation students. There’s such a variety of classes you participate in during medical school, ranging from anatomy labs to small group discussions, so the course will always keep you on your toes! You also get a flavour of being a doctor through GP or hospital placements… even in 1st year! I’ve really enjoyed my journey so far in medical school! I am currently on block rotations within different specialties, and I’ve really enjoyed speaking with patients, listening to their individual stories and putting my clinical skills to good use! If you have any questions about MBChB, the Gateway Programme or UofG, then don’t hesitate to ask! Carolyn
Brunel University of LondonMedicineI am from Taiwan, and I am now a 3rd-year MBBS student at Brunel Medical School. My special interests in medicine include Immunology and Neurology. I chose to study Medicine because I love science and art, and Medicine is the perfect combination of both. I particularly love the Brunel MBBS Team-Based Learning model (TBL) as it guides my learning journey as a medical student very well. The early placement opportunity since Year 1 has been the most rewarding learning experience for me. Denver
