I've lived abroad for over half my life in Portugal, it was my first language but my parents are English. I then moved to England for personal reasons. So I got hit with lots of cultural differences but managed to adapt quite easily. I then moved to Wales for uni and am enjoying it greatly. Welsh people are lovely and made me feel welcomed and part of their community. So feel free to chat with me if you have any questions or concerns. Hi, I’m Sayem, a postgraduate student studying MSc Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I completed my Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering, where I worked on projects related to cybersecurity—especially phishing detection using behavioral biometrics.
I’m originally from Bangladesh and now studying on the Swansea campus. I know how exciting—and sometimes confusing—it can feel when planning to study abroad, so I’m always happy to share honest advice about university life, courses, accommodation, part-time work, or life in Wales.
