I’m Stephanie, a second year student studying Psychology and Criminology at Buckinghamshire New University and I'm here to share my experiences of university life with you and to answer any queries that you may have! I'd describe myself as an independent and hardworking individual who is always eager to stay busy and to learn new things. My future career goal is to become an Applied Positive Psychologist and to have my own firm.

Hi, I’m Susanna
 I’m in my 2nd year at City studying Sociology & Criminology, I really enjoy this course. Criminology, with its focus on crime, law, and justice, has been a particular passion of mine. I’ve delved into the psychological and sociological factors that contribute to criminal behavior, as well as the societal responses to crime. My research often intersects with issues of social justice, exploring how policies and practices in the criminal justice system impact different communities. Outside of academia, I’m deeply engaged in activities that enrich my understanding of the world around me. I enjoy volunteering with organizations focused on criminal justice reform, where I can see firsthand the real-world implications of the theories I study. This hands-on experience is something I believe is crucial for anyone interested in this field.

Hi I’m Tee! I currently am heading into my second year of my degree (but third at UWE as I took a foundation year in social sciences). I’m very interested in Criminal Psychology, the way substances influence an individual’s behaviour, but also the forensic investigation that comes along with it all. I love how multidisciplinary the Criminolgoy degree is at UWE, and how it’s enabled me to explore my passion from such a vast range of angles and perspectives. I hope to either work within the police system or possibly do a masters in Forensic Science. 👮🏼‍♀️🚓
