I have always enjoyed the academic scene, with my focus being in history and an interest in literature which I did as an A-level along with history and philosophy. My passion for history was cultivated from primary education and I have continued it since. In my spare time I enjoy exercise and socialising with my peers.

Hello, my name is Matt, and I am a 3rd year History student at the University of Essex! My aim for the future is to work in intelligence analysis (more interesting than it sounds I promise). I have a strong passion for music and love live music and performances. In my spare time, I am also teaching myself coding and cybersecurity in order to supplement my love of technology. My love for History comes from my interest in my family history and also Horrible Histories (something a lot of people can relate to!) I come from the town of West Bridgford outside Nottingham in the East Midlands. I am half Indian, quarter Welsh, quarter German. I attended a state school, studying Law, Economics and History for A Level. My passion for all things history led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in it at Durham University. I'm currently undecided as to my career plans, but I'm considering either going into academia, the civil service, or journalism.

Hi! I am Sophie and I am currently studying History at the University of Lincoln. I have always had a particular interest in History as I have always loved to read. I would love a career in the publishing industry as the opportunity to work with books is my absolute dream! I also love to travel, especially to Greece which is my favourite place in the world! Everything from the villages to the food is my absolute favourite. I also love to cook and bake whenever I get the opportunity, especially whilst listening to Taylor Swift.
