The law has always been intriguing to me and I have a similar interest in Psychology because it is such a fascinating subject, so I studied it in A-levels and I have loved it ever since. I'm Leilani, an international student studying forensic science, and I hope to one day open up a lab back in my home country! I enjoy baking, brownies specifically, listening to music, and meeting new people! I'm half Samoan, and that automatically makes me a sucker for all sorts of sports like football, rugby, and many more! Being an international student can seem scary, but with the helpful community at USW, I have managed to make a home away from home.  I understand that moving away from home and making a big change for university is a little daunting, but with a little guidance and help, it'll be a breeze.  I intend to enter the legal profession as a barrister, having had experience shadowing a practising barrister. I love advocacy, defending an argument, and client-based interaction, so working as a lawyer would be fantastic! I am Vice President of the Lancaster Bombers, our university's American Football team, having previously served as a Social Secretary for a year. This sport is my passion outside of my studies, and so my role on the executive committee allows me to have a leadership role within the team.
