I am currently a postgraduate student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Warwick, with a strong passion for innovation at the intersection of technology, neuroscience, and mental health. My master's dissertation focuses on monitoring psychological stress and mental well-being using physiological signals, reflecting my deep interest in harnessing engineering solutions to address mental health challenges.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a PhD, and I am currently exploring opportunities in neuroscience, neural engineering, and mental health research. I am particularly fascinated by how physiological data can enhance our understanding of the brain, improve mental health interventions, and contribute to more effective, personalised treatments.

After finishing my A-levels at small sixth form in 2019 (and a few gap years!), I started my university journey. It took me a long time to decide what path I wanted to take, so I very much relate to the uncertainty you might be feeling at this stage! 

I am from a very rural village in Cornwall, so naturally love the outdoors. So, for someone not used to urban living, Plymouth is a great in-between! It has so much to offer, including a balance between city and coastal life.

I am now in my third (and final!) year of my BEd Primary Education degree, specialising in geography. After graduating in 2025, I hope to pursue a career in teaching and share my passion for educating for sustainability.

My favourite Python library is drawdata, my favourite things are my bike and a teacup...and my favourite places on campus are our awesome library and the games room at County bar. 
I did not take Computer Science for A-level and my favourite subject was actually biology. So, I was choosing between a lot of options (like Marine biology, Mechanical engineering, Data science, Economics and, of course, Computer science). However, I have not regretted picking Computer Science since starting university as it turned out to be an interesting course suitable for any level of experience. I also do Accounting and Finance as my minor.
