I’m Temwani – great to meet you!

I’m a second-year international student at the University of Essex (Colchester Campus), originally from the vibrant country of Zambia. My educational journey has taken me across Southern Africa, with my O Levels in Zimbabwe and A Levels in South Africa, giving me a rich and diverse perspective both inside and outside the classroom.

Beyond my academics, I’m passionate about sports, fitness, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community engagement—I believe in living a balanced life and giving back to those around me. I currently live off-campus, which has given me the chance to explore the local community and meet people from all walks of life.

My academic interests lie in economics, finance, and business advisory, where I aspire to build a fulfilling career that makes a real impact. I’m always eager to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded individuals.

Hi, I’m Vincent 👋
I’m studying Mathematics with Computing at the University of Essex, where I’m exploring how maths and programming can be used to solve real-world problems. 

Outside of academics, I love staying active — I’ve played basketball at a competitive level and enjoy working with others as an Accommodation Representative, helping new students settle in and feel at home on campus. I’m also passionate about public speaking, so much so that I became a exec of the University's Public Speaking Society.

I’ve been interested in tech and security for a long time, and studying this course has really confirmed that I want to build a career in cyber in the future, although I’m still exploring all the different paths the field offers.

Hello! I’m a direct entry student who came through college first, where I completed my HND in Interior Design and Architecture. This gave me a strong practical foundation and helped shape my interest in design and how spaces are experienced. Then I went straight into second year and started my degree in Interior and spatial design. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and I love visiting art galleries, as they’re a big interest of mine and a great source of inspiration for my work.
After I finish university, I hope to move into a professional interior design practice where I can continue developing my skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow as a designer
