Other: I love to travel and have been on a variety of travel placements that have been supported by the university, such as working at camps in America and Canada, going on a pilgrimage to Palestine, and studying a semester abroad in Austria.

Hi, my name is Angela and I am currently studying Economics at City. I was born in Smolyan, Bulgaria, however, I moved to London when I was 13. Ever since, I have enjoyed living and studying here as I strongly believe that a bad day in London is still better than a good day anywhere else! Hello everyone - I'm a third year MEng electronic engineering student currently on industrial placement at the DSP Centre of Excellence here at Bangor University. My industrial placement project involves research and development in automated datapoint collection for visible light positioning systems that utilizes machine learning for increased accuracy for 5G & 6G applications.

In Sept 25' I will continue my studies and once I have completed my undergraduate I aspire to become a PhD candidate at the DSP Centre to continue researching in the field of Visible Light Communications & Positioning technologies.

Hi! I'm Audrey, a year 2 English Literature student from Hong Kong. My college is St. Mary's, and I highly recommend it - most of the friends I've made here are from Mary's as well, the community is very nice in general (I'm currently involved in the Book Club, but there are so many more societies!), and the cherry blossoms are beautiful in the spring. I'm open to discussing anything about Durham, from adjusting to the teaching and learning methods from a non-A-levels background, to the collegiate system, to food and weather (it actually rains less than you think).
