My name is Elisabeth, I am currently studying Sport and Exercise Psychology BSc with the aim of moving into Clinical Psychology MSc and PhD. I am very passionate about psychology as well as sport, I’ve been doing gymnastics since I was 9 years old but I also enjoy lots of other sport such as tennis, golf and weight lifting. I currently live at Greetham street halls. My favourite thing to do outside uni is bowling with my friends in Gunwharf Quays.

On the weekends, you can find me hiking with my friends and sometimes we even go wild swimming if the weathers nice (not likely)⛰️. After my lectures, I can either go rock climbing in my Uni society, watch some football, catch up with the F1 I missed on the weekend or catch up with friends in the union playing some pool.

Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I moved to Scotland at the age of twenty and  can understand how diffcult it can be, but it also was the best challenge I have ever faced. I do biomedical engineering and want to focus on a combination of electronics and cell biology in the future. I’m an undergraduate student studying Economics at the University of Warwick, with a keen interest in development economics and its real-world applications. I love exploring how economic principles can be used to address global challenges, from inequality to sustainable growth. I also enjoy mathematics, not just as a tool for summarising economic models but as a way to deepen our understanding of the reasoning behind them.

Having studied in both Thai and UK education systems, I’ve experienced the transition first-hand, so I understand the challenges and adjustments involved. I’m also a Royal Thai Government scholar, which means I will return to Thailand after my studies to serve as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Beyond academics, I have worked closely with the Royal Thai Embassy, coordinating special occasions such as the National Day Reception and events for Thai student communities. Hi! I’m a first-year student studying Law here at Durham University. I’m from Preston, Lancashire and I am a liver in at Stephenson College. I am a member of the Women in Law Society, the Horrible Histories Society and the DU Judo club. In my spare time, I love watching old 90s and 2000s Tv shows as well as cheesy romantic comedies with my flatmates! I’m really passionate about martial arts, especially Japanese Ju Jitsu which I have a brown belt in and I’m currently working towards my black belt with my club back home. My favourite thing about Durham University is the college system which is how I met my friends and course mates! After Durham, I’m hoping to become a solicitor in employment or family law.
