Hi! I’m Catty and I graduated from Bangor University in 2024 with a undergraduate degree in Computer Science. This year I will be starting my PhD, focusing on "Electric Vehicle Routing for Middle Mile Logistics Operations". I am passionate about addressing climate change, and my research will explore the application of Artificial Intelligence to this problem. The project is also aligned with government guidelines on achieving Net Zero Emissions.

Hello! My name is Charlene, a second year Politics & International Relations student. I am originally from Ghana, but I have lived in London for about 5 years now, having done my GCSEs and A Levels here in the UK. I love to read, I love to write and have chill days cuddled up on my bed with a blanket watching Netflix. I love to get involved at uni so I work for the University as a student ambassador and also for the Students Union as a school and course rep. Please note that although I am Ghanaian, I am unfamiliar with the ucas application process from outside the UK since I did my secondary qualifications here in the UK. Whilst studying at Bangor University, I plan on applying to North Wales Police as a Special Constable. The SC has all the same training, equipment and rights as a standard Police Officer however it is voluntary. This will give me invaluable experience into the world and policing alongside my a degree which I love.
I go to Fitness First (one of the many local gyms) everyday other than Sunday, I really enjoying working out and found its a great outlet for stress and also improves my physical and mental health, I also follow a strict diet and skincare routine which also helps with the stresses that may arise during University life.
When I am not studying or in the gym, my main hobby is Gaming, I play on the desktop computer (SO much better than console!)

I came to this degree as a mature student having done a Higher Education access course, and chose to study at UWTSD Swansea because its Film & TV course is ranked the best in Wales. My main creative passion is writing and I intend to use the skills that I develop in this degree to become a screenwriter when I graduate.

I'm a third year photography student, currently creating my final piece specialising in camera less and analogue processing. Alongside university I have discovered a passion for art curation and volunteer at a small independent gallery space as an assistant curator. 

Outside of university I love to spend my time knitting, learning new patterns as gifts for friends and family. I also really enjoy playing cozy games curled up on the sofa, one that I am very fixated on is Stardew valley! You can also often catch me at small local gigs! I love discovering new bands and exploring different genres of music :)

I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area.
I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members!
I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university.

Hi! I'm Chris👦🏻, an Adult Nursing student at Swansea University's Singleton Park campus. 

I work as a Senior Ambassador for the university assisting in admission, compliance, marketing, recruitment, and international and future student experience.  I also practice at Swansea Bay University Health Board, covering all 3 acute hospitals within Swansea & Neath Port Talbot jurisdiction. 

Previously, I was part of the School of Health and Social Care (SHSC), which includes a combined 68 UG & PGT/PGR Programme's, I liaised with teaching and non-teaching faculty as School Rep; leading student engagement, student experience, student voice & inclusivity partnership from 2023 to 2024. I had previously worked for the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar™ as a Health & Safety Executive, HSV/HSE - HC.

My current project with Swansea University as a SPIN Intern in the Dept of Nursing is to assist in learning and teaching materials and strategies for the nursing programmes of Swansea University.

My interest and where I see myself doing something after graduation would be in acute care mainly in Ophthalmology 👁 - with Eyes👓, Intensive care in Cardiothoracic ❤️‍🩹- the heart 🫀and the lungs🫁, or Emergency Medicine🚑.

I’m really pleased to be back in education here in England — it’s been such a rewarding experience! As a mature student, I truly believe it’s never too late to return to study and pursue a meaningful career. I see myself working as an Occupational Therapist, hopefully within mental health, although I’m open to wherever the future takes me.
