I am a part of the University of Reading; however, I am originally from a small town in South Wales. I have always had a keen interest in Business Marketing; even when I was young, I used social media to create a platform to share and promote my journey in horse riding. As I have grown older, I now work for the University's engagement and content creation team and wish to pursue this further once I graduate. University has allowed me to explore my interests, make new friends and be more independent and confident in myself, which I had struggled with in the past. Hi! I’m Liv from Vietnam, currently studying Business with Marketing. I chose this course because it perfectly combines creativity with real-world business skills — and the university's supportive community and global outlook made it an easy choice for me.

When I’m not in lectures, you’ll probably find me planning my next solo trip, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or working on a DIY project like crocheting or embroidery. I’m also a big cat person and love meeting new people from different cultures — uni life has really helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Hi! I’m 2nd year studying a joint honours in Management and Philosophy, having changed from a senior honours in Economics! I have taken modules in Business Law, Entrepreneurship , Marketing, HR, Finance, Maths, Economics, Operations etc. I volunteer with scouts and am in the Army OTC! I also am a part of Hare and Hounds, Tennis, Tri and Mountaineering. I am Treasurer of the Walking Club, VP of the Business Soc and Captain of the Orienteering and Fell Running Club. I studied Business, Maths, and Computer Science at A-level at my local sixth form and achieved grades of ABC. These grades were enough to get me accepted into my first choice, Lancaster University, to study accounting and finance. However I realised during my first year that Accounting and Finance wasn’t the right course for me, and I decided to move to business management, where I really enjoyed the entrepreneurship module so decided to go into 2nd year on the Business Management (entrepreneurship) course. The current career path I am exploring is business consulting; I feel it suits my personality well and it is a well established industry. During my free time, I regularly go to the gym, and play football with my friends.
