I'm now at the end of my second year of biology undergraduate degree. I was originally on the biochemistry course before realising it wasn't right for me, and switching to biology. During my time here, I've been apart of a employer project on the Lincoln award and taken on the role of student ambassador.

Hi, I'm Adrianna. I'm from North West England. 

I decided I wanted to do marine biology, when someone did an online talk at my college all about the marine environment and biology. 

My main hobbies include sewing; gaming; watching films and series; and spending time with friends and family. 

Some of my favorite games are Animal Crossing; Slime Rancher; and Stardew Valley. 

Some of my favorite movies/series are: How to Train Your Dragon; Vampire Diaries; Grey's Anatomy; and Disney movies.

I currently study marine biology, and plan to pursue a career in conservation. I would love to work with a rescue and rehabilitation center as a rescue coordinator and care specialist, or as a diver for conservation and restoration projects around the world.

Alongside my coursework, I’m a member of the women’s rugby union. I absolutely love my team, and all the experiences I have through them (like Wednesday night socials)! Sport and society opportunities at Bangor are phenomenal, and I’d love to tell you all about them! We also have a multitude of volunteering opportunities, with truly something for everyone. Bangor can feel quite small, but between uni-sponsored opportunities, third-party events, and living on the doorstep of Eryri, there’s no reason you can’t have a vibrant time here.

My future plans involve working in a lab to progress research in genetic diseases that affect the immune system. This comes from a place of personal interest because I had a chronic genetic disease but am now cured and wish to help on this front by getting into research.

I've also got a love for animals and have rescued many from donkeys to hens. From a young age I've had a passion for sports, specifically aquatic ones!

Hi guys :) I'm Arianna and I am currently in second year at the University of Lincoln for studying Biochemistry. I hope to get a pHD one day and become a lecturer. I am interested in cancer research and vaccine development and might get into doing a Biotechnology or Microbiology Masters at Lincoln. I am currently in the arts and crafts society, 20 minute society, Biochemistry society, video game society, tabletop society and musical society at Lincoln. I am looking to do badminton/squash/table tennis weekly too. :)

I’m a Bangor University student studying Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, despite not taking any science A-levels—proof that anything is possible if you follow your passion! My volunteer work at a local Owl sanctuary has sparked a deep interest in birds of prey, especially owls, and I hope to pursue a career in this field. I also manage social media for Greener Gwynedd (a university volunteer group) and volunteer with local wildlife groups, gaining hands-on conservation experience. Outside of uni, I love hiking and exploring the nature around North Wales, listening to music (especially Noah Kahan), reading, and playing video games.
