Our Students’ Union has also been voted the best in the UK in the 2024 National Student Survey, and students can get involved in 350+ student-led clubs and societies.

Our students have access to outstanding facilities, from world-class laboratories to industry-standard recording studios. Our 4 libraries boast a combined collection of almost a million ebooks and over 60,000 journals, alongside plenty of learning spaces and a team of staff to support research and learning. 

The city of Sheffield

The fourth largest city in the UK and home to almost 60,000 students, it’s the big city that feels like home.
