University of the Year 2026 for Student Experience

We’re known for our outstanding student experience, and we’re proud to be recognised as the University of the Year for Student Experience (Times Good University Guide 2026). Our Students’ Union has also been voted the best in the UK in the 2024 National Student Survey, and students can get involved in 350+ student-led clubs and societies.

Our students have access to outstanding facilities, from world-class laboratories to industry-standard recording studios. Our 4 libraries boast a combined collection of almost a million ebooks and over 60,000 journals, alongside plenty of learning spaces and a team of staff to support research and learning.
