Following recent changes in consumer protection legislation for the 2016 cycle, the time period in which applicants can change their minds, cancel their application, and reply swap is 14 days.

We’ve reviewed our applicant-facing documents and processes to make sure they’re clear and informative, so applicants know what to expect from the admissions process (e.g. they should receive pre-contractual information from you before they accept offers). You can read our consumer rights guidance for applicants on ucas.com. Applicant letters are also being updated and a link to these will be provided next week.

Please ensure you comply with these terms in accordance with your consumer protection obligations and update any relevant resources.
