The Group’s purpose is to advise and guide the strategic international development of UCAS, specifically:

  • informing, advising, and progressing the development of UCAS’ international strategy
  • noting and discussing policy and operational issues that affect international education, providing a forum for feedback and resolution
  • acting as a channel of communication and consultation to assist the promotion of best practice in relation to international applications
  • ensuring that UCAS’ external relations and operational activities, in respect of international applications, are continually reviewed and remain relevant and pertinent to current imperatives that affect the operation of international and European admissions

The Group currently meets face-to-face three times per year, usually in February, June, and November, either at UCAS in Cheltenham, or at a member’s premises. Virtual discussions are also held between meetings.

Current membership, Terms of Reference, and the application to submit an expression of interest, is available on the Group's web page. Alternatively, email groupsandforums@ucas.ac.uk to express your interest. An expression of interest would normally be no longer than three – four paragraphs, outlining your motivation and suitability for joining the Group. You may also attach a current CV, if you wish.

Expressions of interests must be received by Monday 6 July 2020.
