We will again be publishing a detailed set of national analysis, as well as providing you with further analysis for your acceptances.
Reporting will start on 8 August, when we’ll publish a detailed set of analysis – including reports specific to applicants domiciled in Scotland. On the same day, we will make versions of the published reports covering their own acceptances available to providers in Scotland. All of these analyses will contain a time series comparison for SQA results day in previous cycles, going back to 2013.
These reports will be:
- overview (and separate overviews for those domiciled in Scotland, the EU, and outside the EU)
- country
- age
- Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD 2016) (Scottish-domiciled only)
- subject (and separate versions for those domiciled in Scotland, the EU, and outside the EU)
From Thursday 17 August until Friday 1 September, we’ll be publishing a full set of daily Clearing analysis reports, which give a comprehensive national picture about how Clearing is running. For comparison, these reports include data for the equivalent point relative to A level results day in the cycle going back to 2013, and will cover:
- overview (and separate overviews for those domiciled in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, EU, and outside the EU)
- country
- age
- subject
- sex
- UK-domiciled region
- POLAR3
- SIMD 2016 (Scottish-domiciled only)
- Tariff group
There will also be a subset of reports covering acceptances to B7 – nursing. These will be produced on SQA results day, and then daily from 17 August until 1 September.
As in previous cycles, we’ll also provide you with a daily report on the distribution of unplaced applicants, which does not form part of the public reporting. This report will be available from 17 August until 1 September, accessible via the Confirmation & Clearing hub. Please note, this report will not contain an ABB+ split.
In addition, each week from 17 August until 14 September, we’re providing each university/college with a version of the key reports relating to your own applicants. This will include a sector version, and your own version of the suite of A level reports (A levels achieved, A levels achieved minus predicted, and A levels predicted versus achieved). They will be available to download from MOVEit (our secure file transfer service) – find out how to use MOVEit. If you need to reset your password, please raise a ticket through our ServiceNow portal.
