We’ve now completed the second stage of improvements to our core services for the 2015 admissions cycle, which is scheduled to go live on Monday 8 September 2014.
These changes will allow you to receive new data from us when we begin processing the 2015 applications on Tuesday 9 September.
The following is a summary of the improvements:
- Implemented Standard Occupation Classification (SOC) Code changes, and upgraded from 2000 to 2010 data – the new fields will be present in ODBC and XML, ready to pass data to you once the 2015 application processing commences on 9 September.
- To assist you with providing HESA data, three questions on equality have been included in the application; asking about sexual orientation, religion/belief and gender identity. All the new fields will be present in ODBC and XML, for us to pass data to you once the 2015 application processing commences.
- Improved the Residential Category by breaking down the UK Citizen/EU national option, so that applicants can indicate their regions and countries. Once again, you will be able to receive this data once the 2015 application processing starts.
- Updated all on screen and help text to reflect these changes.
In order for you to receive new data, it is essential that you have completed all necessary functional changes to your systems at this stage. Please refer to last week’s bulletin and
