During this taster session you'll gain an introduction to the game art pipeline and the range of career choices you can aim to specialise in.
- Get a hands-on introduction to 3D game art techniques such as creating and editing 3d models, UV’s, texturing maps, lighting, physics, destruction and of course testing by playing!
- Work with tools such as Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Epic’s Unreal Engine.
- Work on a creative project from scratch, directly in the game engine where you learn how to manipulate objects and materials, how to interact and destruct objects. You’ll will then export the game model in Maya and edit in 3D, change the textures in Photoshop and bring it back into the games engine to test and refine.
