There is a lot to say about myself! I currently study education studies: primary in Welsh so I have numerous options from here. My main goal is to be working with children. This could include a job in teaching or in any other education setting or environment. I have numerous hobbies such a Football and I often go down to Swansea and watch my team play. I also play county darts and have a real passion for the sport. I also love the social life in university and meeting new people and trying out different things! It's a very fun experience!

Hello! I’m Anodiwa, a 2nd year Psychology with Developmental Disorders student from Zimbabwe. I absolutely love my degree, it’s so interesting and rewarding and I’m so grateful that USW offers the Developmental Disorders minor, as that’s my main line of interest. I stay off campus, yet Treforest still gives off that close-knit student-town vibe. Everything is close together, the views are beautiful, and it’s great for hikes when you need a break from school!! 

I moved from Zim to Wales last year and acclimatised really well, everyone here is so friendly, and I’ve felt right at home since day one. If you’re curious about the course, life at USW, or just want a real take on being a student here, I’m always happy to chat!

I live in the University Mountain Halls and I love to read any books that interest me such as Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games and more. I love movies such as Ghostbusters, The Conjuring Movies and others that interest me.

Hi, I am Harriet, a second year History student at the University of Wales Trinity St David. I am a keen historian who is primarily interested in early modern history, particularly empires, royalty and gender studies. Outside of my interest in history I am very much interested in fashion, makeup, The Sims franchise and food. Alongside this I am also a keen traveller and love to go on holidays, whether in the UK or abroad and learn about new places and cultures! On my bucket list at the moment is to go to Rome and the Holy See, as well as Kensington Palace, the childhood home of Queen Victoria! After University, I am planning on going into teaching with the aim of becoming a History and Politics teacher at Secondary School and/or Sixth Form/College. I came to Swansea as a born and raised Londoner with no clue what to expect out of a seaside, small Welsh city. 
I have a background of fine art which led to an interest in design and pattern making, leading now to a career interest in trend and forecasting once I complete my degree this year.
Staying in Swansea has definitely opened my eyes to the balance of city life and exploring nature. One weekend could be an all day coastal walk, while the next a pub crawl around town. It really has it all.

My name is Kirsty, and I'm a 23-year-old third year student pursuing a degree in Psychology with Criminology and Criminal Justice. I've previously worked as a qualified childcare practitioner. 

My interests lie in understanding human behavior, and in my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, and having fun.
 I'm currently learning Spanish and Welsh, and I'm also a young carer for my grandmother. If anyone else is in a similar situation, I'd be happy to share my experiences, especially if they're trying to attend university while caring for someone. As a local student, I commute to the University, and I also have dyslexia, which makes it challenging to understand coursework. However, I've developed practical techniques to overcome these hurdles and am willing to share them with anyone who might benefit. 

After completing my degree, I plan to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and eventually become a lecturer in South Wales.
