Student life

“If I had to name one place in the world where I belong, heart and mind, it is Goldsmiths. The people and professors I've met, together with Goldsmiths' radical soul, have made these three years a transformative experience that is now helping me shape the path for my future.” - Elettra (BA Sociology & Politics)

Campus and facilities

Goldsmiths is a place like no other.

Around our campus you will bump into students and staff from all walks of life and from over 140 countries across the world. It is a melting pot of ideas, interests, identities and imaginations. Walking around our campus you’ll see exhibitions of student work or overhear talks from visiting guest lecturers. It’s what makes Goldsmiths so special.

Goldsmiths is one of London’s only universities with a single-site campus. This means you can experience both a campus student life but are only ever minutes away from the heart of central London (named best student city in 2023 by QS). London Bridge station is only a 10 minute journey via a direct train from New Cross Gate station (a 5 minute walk from campus) and you’re only 15 minutes by train to Shoreditch. Our campus has a range of state-of-the-art facilities, including a 24-hour library with bookable study spaces.
