This breakout session will benefit all delegates with an interest in IB programmes.
Summary
This workshop will focus on supporting schools and colleges with International Baccalaureate (IB) students, to help them offer the best advice about applying to UK universities. The session will give feedback on universities’ attitudes to IB students, and offer practical suggestions on how students can outline the skills developed through the IB in their university application.
Learning outcomes
By attending this session, delegates will:
- understand the attitudes of UK HE providers to IB programmes, in order to counsel their students successfully
- learn how to most effectively support IB students through the application process
