Summary
For some students, going directly into year one of a bachelor’s degree may not be the right path for them, but they are keen to progress to university. This session will explore the various foundation options that are open to students who haven’t quite got the grades they were expecting, or need a softer landing into university life.
Learning outcomes
- Have an awareness of the various foundation options available in UK HE.
- Feel confident recommending foundation options to students who may need it.
- Be reassured that lower grades during final exams does not mean that highly ranked providers are out of the question for students.
